Hendricks County 4-H Fairgrounds

A 110-acre facility with both outdoor and indoor amenities and campground accommodations makes this facility a premier spot in Hendricks County for special events, corporate outings, conferences and even weddings. Annual host to the Hendricks County 4-H Fair, this facility also has accommodated major concerts, festivals and even international events such as National Powwow.

Camping Available

Did you know that the Hendricks County 4-H Fairgrounds and Conference Complex has on-site camping available?

The campgrounds provide full service (Water-Electric-Sewer) campsites as well as primitive camping with modern restroom and shower facilities on over 100 acres.

Cost is only $50 dollars for two nights for a full service site and $20 dollars for two nights for a primitive site. Register and pay both quickly and easily with this form.

Driving Directions

Indianapolis International Airport:

Go west on I-70W to Exit 66 (IN-267) towards Mooresville/Plainfield. Turn right (north) on IN-267 towards Plainfield for 2.9 miles. Turn left on US-40/E. Main St./IN-267 and go 1.4 miles. Turn right on Avon Ave./IN-267. Continue and follow IN-267 for 4.1 miles to US-36 W. Turn left on US-36W for 4.7 miles to County Road 200 East. Turn right (North) on County Road 200 East and follow .3 miles to intersection. Complex is on northwest corner.

I-70 West (from Columbus, OH; Richmond, IN):

Take I-70 West (thru Indianapolis) via Exit 110B toward St. Louis. Merge onto Sam Jones Expressway via Exit 75. Merge onto I-465 N/I-74 W. Follow I-465 N to Exit 13B toward Danville. Take US-36 W to County Road 200 E (about 9 miles). Turn right on County Road 200 E and follow .3 miles to intersection. Complex is on northwest corner.

I-70 East (from St. Louis, MO; Terre Haute, IN)

Take I-70 East to IN-39 Belleville (Exit 59). Turn left (North) on IN-39 to Danville (11.5 miles). Turn right (East) onto West Main Street/US-36/IN-39. Continue to follow US-36 East (1 mile). Turn left (North) onto East Main Street/Old US-36 (1 mile). Complex is on the left (North) at County Road 200 East and Main Street.

I-65 North (from Louisville, KY; Columbus, IN):

Take I-65 North to I-465 W (Exit 106). Travel West and North on I-465 to US-36/Rockville Road. Merge onto US-36 W via Exit 13B toward Danville (12.8 miles). Turn Right on County Road 200 E and follow .3 miles to intersection. Complex is on the northwest corner.

I-65 South (from Chicago, IL; Lafayette, IN):

Take I-65 South to IN-39 (Exit 139) toward Lizton/Lebanon. Turn right onto IN-39S. Continue to follow IN-39. Turn left onto W. Main Street/US-36/IN-39. Continue on US-36E. Turn left onto East Main Street (Old US-36). Complex is on the northwest corner of East Main Street (Old US-36) and County Road 200 E.

I-74 West (from Cincinnati, OH):

Take I-74W to I-465 W (Exit 94). Take I-465W to US-36W/Rockville Road (Exit 13B) toward Danville. Follow US-36W/Rockville Road for 12.8 miles. Turn Right on County Road 200 E and follow .3 miles to intersection. Complex is on the northwest corner.

I-74 East (from Champaign, IL; Crawfordsville, IN):

Take I-74E to IN-39 – Lizton (Exit 58). Turn right (South) onto IN-39 towards Danville (9.2 miles). Turn left (East) onto W. Main Street/US-36. Continue on US-36E (1.4 miles). Turn left (North) onto E. Main Street/Old US-36 (1 mile). Complex is on the left (North) at County Road 200 East & Main Street.
